Best Friend Pet Travel L.L.C 's owners have been shipping pets safely and comfortably all over the world for over forty years. We can help with relocations, as well as assist in shipping puppies or adults from reputable breeders to their new homes, females for breeding, etc. We will advise you on how to acclimate your pet for safe travel, what type of crate you need, as well as required vaccines and health papers. Using a pet shipper is not always the least expensive alternative, but may often be the best choice. We ship from both Denver International Airport and Colorado Springs airport. We can meet you at the airport, or pick up your pet at your home anywhere in Colorado. We also can board your pet if necessary in our modern , secure, small kennel in the Heart of the Rockies. Boarding may be necessary if shipping can not be done on a particular date because of weather or other factors, or if no one is immediately available on the other end to meet the animal. Pick up and boarding can often also be arranged on the arriving end through our net work of accredited shippers. We also can meet your pet at the airport and deliver it to your door or board as long as necessary.Airlines must enforce embargos that prevent pet shipping if the temperature is over 85 degrees F at either end, or under 35 degrees F. These restrictions are for the safety of your pet. Personally we believe 85 degrees is too hot and too dangerous, and will not book a pet to depart or arrive at that predicted temperature. We will try to schedule flights to avoid the most extreme temperature for that day . We do have available cooling /heating suggestions ( and in some cases will require these be used if you ship with us). We try to take every precaution to insure your pet arrives at it's destination safely.
