PetAir UK is run by fully qualified veterinary surgeons and complemented by an exceptional team of animal healthcare professionals, the majority of which are fully qualified veterinary nurses. We specialise in pet export arrangements including all necessary veterinary documentaion and as such we are uniquely placed to look after your pets travel needs. The founders Chris Field, Luke Gamble and Bob Ghandour offer combined experience of 26 years as veterinary surgeons. They are all members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and are qualified DEFRA Local Veterinary Inspectors (LVI). Chris studied veterinary medicine with Luke at University before working in a variety of mainly small animal practices in the UK. He then took a position as an official portal veterinarian at Heathrow for over 3 years where he dealt with countless animal movements from the UK abroad before helping found PetAir. Throughout his time at Heathrow, Chris developed specialist knowledge of the requirements for pet travel and enabled us to develop a complete knowledge of all the veterinary aspects involved with pet exportation.Before PetAir UK, Luke worked as a mixed practice vet around the south of England before setting up an emergency veterinary hospital in Bournemouth and is very experienced at dealing with much loved pets in states of stress when in unfamiliar environments. Being very welfare orientated, Luke also does a lot of voluntary work for the animal charity Worldwide Veterinary Service, a UK based charity he established, which strives to improve animal welfare throughout the world.Bob worked with Luke in Bournemouth for several years before joining the PetAir directorship . Having been the senior assistant in a busy small animal practice, Bob is used to pressure environments, dealing with frightened pets and reassuring worried and concerned owners on a daily basis. His compassion and care are second to none and Bob's easy going nature and careful diligence help ensure that the PetAir team can take care of any export to any country in the world, irrespective of stringent import permit regulations or veterinary tests.Our team pride ourselves on our personable approach and our caring attitude to your dearest pets. We devote an equal amount of attention to dealing with the owners concerns and wishes and appreciate what a stressful and worrying time it can be for you. We have a 100% track record of never having had a health problem with any of the pets we have transported anywhere in the world. As a team, we feel we are uniquely placed to look after your pets needs with welfare paramount in our minds.
