$1850 (electricity and tv/internet not included, water/gas included) 1 room in a 2BR apartment in East Village starting from september 1st (6months minimum, up to 1 year) fully renovated building 6th floor with elevator doorman 24/7 (very safe) brick wall in living room, hardwood floor balcony (two chairs and a small table, really nice during summer/fall) washer/dryer/dishwasher in apartment big washers/dryers in the basement bathroom with bathtub and lots of storage space AC/Heat in all rooms (except bathroom) fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, big fridge, coffee machine) furnished apartment except for the room (big TV, playstation, couch, table, etc) living room has huge windows (floor to ceiling), lots of light. storage space available in living room. About the room : One window and two closets in the wall, there?s currently a queen size bed in the room that will be removed by the end of August. I would recommend to have a twin/full bed or even single bed. There?s lots of space for aditional furniture and also possibility to have a TV. The room doesn?t give on the street so you won?t be bothered by noise from the street. Window does not face a wall ! I?m a 21 year old design student at Pratt Institute looking for a female roommate. I have a cat so be sure to not be allergic. I?m looking for someone that?s in their twenties, student or working doesn?t matter as long as you?re a reliable and serious person. I have a lot of work to do for my school so I?m not always at home. You can use the tv and everything that?s in the living room/kitchen/bathroom, invite friends over and have to let me know if you intend to have a party or anything like that. The living room has a couch that opens up if you have family or friends visiting. This apartment is really nice and it?s a great deal since it?s furnished. I have myself been living in it for a year and know how hard it is to find a decent apartment in New York City that?s why I renewed my lease here for one more year ! Internet/TV/Phone and electricty are not included, it?s about $130 dollars per person per month. Be sure to send me an e-mail in which you will describe yourself, what you do for a living, etc. and then we can schedule a visit. And also let me know if you have any questions. Smokers OK (I am a smoker myself, but I smoke on the balcony) Pets depends (I have a cat) About the neighborhood : I live in a great neighborhood, the East Village (Alphabet City). Great bars, food, very safe. 10 min walk from the L train (1st avenue). There?s also a bus stop in the corner of my street. Lots of delis and supermarkets. Soho, Chinatown, LES are really close to here (15 min walk) 10 min walk from the East River The neighborhood has lots of cute gardens everywhere, really peaceful and residential.
