Properties rarely come up for rent and with an extremely low crime rate, this is a safe place where kids still play in in the cul-de-sac street. I am a native Austinite whom purchased my first home in December 2012. I am a Field Account Executive for a Fortune 100 company; based out of the house, I support national B2B and B2G customers headquartered in the Greater Austin Area with a territory from Killen to San Marcos. My girlfriend also currently lives in the house. We met during our last month of College back in 2006 and have remained friends ever since, despite living in separate towns. We have been officially dating since February 2013, and in July, she had the opportunity to take a promotion within the State of Texas and move from San Antonio to Austin. While we had not expected to take a double jump in our relationship at age 30, due to length of time we have known each other, our relationship is extremely comfortable, supportive, and complimentary. When she moved in, there was a tenant in the front bedroom, whom recently placed themselves in a position where he was no longer trusted or welcome on the property. At 1886 sq feet, our home features open-concept living with a layout that still allows privacy maximization, this home is truly a hidden jewel. We are offering access to our fully-furnished home at a reasonable rate due to its location. We are 25-minutes from downtown Austin and 3-minutes from SH 130, which allows you to bypass Austin traffic. Minutes from major retailers like WalMart, Super Target, Home Depot, HEB, Chili?s, 24-Hr Fitness, local restaurants, hometown bars, and fast-food joints we are located in a hidden pocket within a rapidly expanding community featured in the TV series, Friday Night Lights. The ideal roommate is a young professional, whom is looking to become more of a friend than a tenant. Trust is paramount. A written lease will be required, however terms are subject to negotiation and finding the right roommate is more important than lease length. Please be prepared to provide Proof of Rental Insurance, an ability to pay bills and submit to a criminal background check as part of application process. (Criminal background is required per our employments as you will have access to my office area and the nature of her employment.) In order to promote energy stewardship, utilities will be equally divided in as fair a manner as possible. Dog lovers and dog owners are a plus. Carley, our 1yr old black lab/boxer mix is a well behaved member of our family, which thanks to her automatic food and water dispensers and electronic RF locking doggy door is able to take care of herself for long times. Carley enjoys showing off her doggy door to her friends, teaching them how to go from inside to outside without human assistance. If you have a pet, they will quickly learn how to use the pet door as well. Your new bedroom is ready for your furniture and personalization. To get ready for you, we have prepared a freshly-painted empty bedroom with ceiling fan, large window full blinds and professionally cleaned scotch guarded carpet and rarely used bathroom ready for move in. Allison and I enjoy spending time with friends and seek an active weekend lifestyle, especially watching college football. During week, we often cook family style and live in the living room.
